Luxury items such as designer bags may cost a fortune. Might as well know how to properly take care of your investments for them to last as they are meant to when made.
Consider these tips:
Remove dirt. Mix a few drops of mild baby soap with two cups of distilled water. Dip your sponge. Then wring out thoroughly so it’s barely wet. Wipe a surface and dry thoroughly with a towel, buffing as you go to restore luster.
Remove ink stains. Dip a cotton swab in isoprophyl alcohol and rub over ink stain (test on unnoticeable area first).
Condition the leather. Use formula especially for bags. Never use those for car upholstery, which are harsh and will damage the surface.
You may also try this homemade alternative: Mix 1 part distilled water, white vinegar with 2 parts linseed oil.
